Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Dantel started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Ismael Nardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libertad and the Mataderos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Libertad's Ismael Nardo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Esteban Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Libertad booed when Mataderos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Peio scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Rufio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Mataderos FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Mataderos FC's Marcos Dantel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th play minute Esteban Duarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Desiderio Dalmau. 2-1. Libertad's Desiderio Dalmau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Libertad from getting a goal against them. If Marcos Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's Marcos Dantel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Dalmau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Desiderio Dalmau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Dantel in the 41st minute of play. Severino Emenon charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Emenon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severino Emenon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Duarte got free with Desiderio Dalmau in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, one of Libertad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Libertad. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Mataderos FC's Benicio Gerazan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Desiderio Dalmau. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Ellande to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafin Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Faustino Rufio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Mataderos FC's Esteban Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Dalmau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A collision led to Libertad getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edelmiro Magdaleno hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Marcos Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Dalmau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Ermengol. 66 minutes into the match, Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Dantel came free, but Desiderio Dalmau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Dalmau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Libertad's goalkeeper Desiderio Dalmau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Valentin Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Dalmau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Libertad defense, Marcos Dantel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Dalmau. The Libertad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Dalmau should have stopped the shot. Cristian Elivareo's late challenge caught a Mataderos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Elivareo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Libertad getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cristian Elivareo hit a great ball. Esteban Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mataderos FC had won after a very even match.
