RIP F.C's Olgierd Winnicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Kaiet in the 9th minute of play. Ruben Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Prudencio Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Llin made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RIP F.C's Dario Benitez. In the 20th minute Fabio Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Neil Bezzina fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIP F.C's protests and gave Neil Bezzina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, RIP F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Bezzina to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Formerio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olgierd Winnicki. RIP F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olgierd Winnicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Kaiet in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Bristol City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alejo Gelmiro hit a great ball. Olgierd Winnicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Kaiet in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Tano in the 32nd minute of play forced RIP F.C's goalkeeper Olgierd Winnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bristol City's goalkeeper Prudencio Remicio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Israel Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Kaiet was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Fabio Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RIP F.C's Olgierd Winnicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save RIP F.C from getting a goal against them. Rosendo Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bristol City defense, Ruben Rameriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Remicio. The Bristol City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Remicio should have stopped the shot. Ruben Rameriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Celso Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes RIP F.C got a freekick which was hit by Neil Bezzina. When RIP F.C's Ruben Rameriz in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bristol City's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Bristol City booed when RIP F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Winnicki made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alejo Gelmiro sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the game, Bristol City's Gavino Tano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olgierd Winnicki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Prudencio Remicio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Rameriz went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Olgierd Winnicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Tano in the 82nd minute. Romeo Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RIP F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Fabio Kaiet scored to the left of an out of position Olgierd Winnicki, making the score, 3-2.
