Marciano Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Seber in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Garra F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Bemabe came free, but Fernando Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Garra F.C booed when Paraní FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Tirso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Mateo Tirso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Paraní FC's zone, Mihai Huțupan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Aballe came out of the goal and Mihai Huțupan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihai Huțupan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marciano Aballe made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Paraní FC's Ildefonso Inko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Dei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Garra F.C getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mihai Huțupan hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Paraní FC's goalkeeper Marciano Aballe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Huțupan. Paraní FC's Marciano Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Otsoko in the 33rd minute of play. Fausto Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Aballe having to interfere. Mihai Huțupan scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Aballe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Chinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Agustin Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Bemabe was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Huțupan in the 54th minute of play forced Paraní FC's goalkeeper Marciano Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Desiderio Bemabe took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fernando Dei to make any attempt to save it. Desiderio Bemabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
