Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rolando Medero kicked off to start the match. A hard shot 7 in the game by Zeledon Erdiano from a close distance when the talented Denis Sotil managed to make a qualified save. KRAKEN A.C.'s players were relieved. 8 minutes in the game, Benjamin Arlo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Faro AFC's Cristian Urtsin suffered a concussion in the 14th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Donato Estebe fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KRAKEN A.C.'s protests and gave Donato Estebe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KRAKEN A.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Donato Estebe hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Rolando Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Benjamin Arlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Erdiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denis Sotil came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeledon Erdiano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Denis Sotil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Erdiano went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Zeledon Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Faro AFC's Rolando Medero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Sotil. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play.

Benjamin Arlo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Denis Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro AFC. Denis Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Medero in the 55th minute of play. Denis Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 4-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Benjamin Arlo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. KRAKEN A.C.'s Denis Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Medero in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, KRAKEN A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Medero came free, but Denis Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Zeledon Erdiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KRAKEN A.C.'s Denis Sotil did a great save. Sixto Matei hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Rolando Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Paulo Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Faro AFC's Zeledon Erdiano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benjamin Arlo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Denis Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faro AFC. Faro AFC's Rolando Medero got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Rolando Medero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faro AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the KRAKEN A.C. defense, Zeledon Erdiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Sotil. The KRAKEN A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Sotil should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Faro AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
