With 5 minutes on the clock, Cristian Urtsin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Adrian Sotero went to the wrong direction when Bernardino Formerio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Adrian Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Tano in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Rolando Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Medero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Arlo scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Remicio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 minutes, Venancio Lia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faro AFC and the Bristol City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venancio Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gavino Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 23 minutes, Leo Ferrer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faro AFC and the Bristol City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Faro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bristol City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alejo Gelmiro hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Alejo Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Tano in the 31st minute of play forced Faro AFC's goalkeeper Adrian Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Fabio Kaiet came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Bristol City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Kaiet couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Kaiet in the 38th minute of play forced Faro AFC's goalkeeper Adrian Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bristol City's Rosendo Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Faro AFC's Rolando Medero in the 45th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Prudencio Remicio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bristol City through an amazing save.

If Venancio Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Rolando Medero made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Remicio. Bristol City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, Faro AFC's Adrian Sotero got control of the ball when Gavino Tano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Arlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faro AFC's Rolando Medero got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Medero scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Remicio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Alejo Gelmiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Sotero. Faro AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Gelmiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 84th minute, Jesus Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Formerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bristol City getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alejo Gelmiro hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Faro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Kaiet came free, but Adrian Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faro AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
