The referee showed Rodrigo Sandalio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes La Academia Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Sandalio. Naranja AFC's Ladislao Ekialde took a good shot, in the 6th minute, which hit the crossbar above Clodoveo Fidensio's head, and flew over the goal. La Academia Racing Club's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Naranja AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Abarca in the 8th minute of play forced La Academia Racing Club's goalkeeper Clodoveo Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Naranja AFC's zone, Marco Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Chus came out of the goal and Marco Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Quilino in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Chus saved Naranja AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Naranja AFC's Alejandro Micael slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clodoveo Fidensio. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. With a little luck, La Academia Racing Club's Clodoveo Fidensio got control of the ball when Ovidio Cordarrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Quilino in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Chus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adan Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marco Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Naranja AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alejandro Micael hit a great ball. Clodoveo Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Cordarrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Clodoveo Fidensio made a huge save. In the 30th match minute, Naranja AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Sindo to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Marco Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adan Iago struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Silvestre Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Academia Racing Club. La Academia Racing Club's Clodoveo Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Micael in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, La Academia Racing Club's goalkeeper Clodoveo Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Locaio. Primitivo Giro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Abarca was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes La Academia Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Sandalio. Clodoveo Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Abarca in the 57th minute of play. If Marco Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, La Academia Racing Club's Rodrigo Sandalio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodrigo Sandalio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Academia Racing Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodrigo Sandalio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 64th minute, one of La Academia Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Academia Racing Club. Clodoveo Fidensio went to the wrong direction when Ladislao Ekialde was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Naranja AFC's Ovidio Cordarrell in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Academia Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. Clodoveo Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Abarca in the 72nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Academia Racing Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Clodoveo Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Cordarrell in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Sergio Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naranja AFC's Silvestre Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Quilino in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, La Academia Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Abarca came free, but Clodoveo Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Modestio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 100th minute, Benedicto Locaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Naranja AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
