PotoONet CAP's Angel Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Majman in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Bruno Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urdin Jauregui in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Avellaneda saved PotoONet CAP from getting behind. Tord Majman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Angel Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Majman in the 12th minute of play. If Amador Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, La Union de Eldorado's goalkeeper Freddy Arano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Elizardo. When Urdin Jauregui came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the La Union de Eldorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urdin Jauregui couldn't finish the play. Tord Majman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Avellaneda having to make a save. 23 minutes into the game, Urdin Jauregui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Angel Avellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, PotoONet CAP's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Majman came free, but Angel Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, PotoONet CAP's Erubiel Monico got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Urdin Jauregui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tord Majman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Avellaneda having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Firmo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes PotoONet CAP got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Firmo.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Abarca in the 84th minute of play forced PotoONet CAP's goalkeeper Angel Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urdin Jauregui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Avellaneda having to interfere. La Union de Eldorado's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
