With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Txilar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Marco Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Txilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jose Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Jago kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the last second Clodoveo Fidensio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ariel Montay in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 36 minutes, Marco Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Academia Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Quilino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adan Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Txilar having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Marco Quilino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10's Gervasio Txilar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ariel Montay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Quilino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Clodoveo Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Matias Fresco fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10's protests and gave Matias Fresco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Academia Racing Club booed when LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Quilino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Gervasio Txilar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Manuel Gabon fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10's protests and gave Manuel Gabon a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10 got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Gabon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Quilino in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Txilar saved LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10 from getting behind. Clodoveo Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Montay, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Cipriano Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Academia Racing Club's Marco Quilino got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Fresco hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gervasio Txilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Quilino's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. During the 91st minute of the match Matias Fresco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matias Fresco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10's Matias Fresco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Quilino in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Txilar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Despite being the better team, La Academia Racing Club failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
