Jorge Xacintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Meo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Xacintu ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmar Enmanuel made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Victorino Beila sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Gartzi's late challenge caught a Pintó Un Tinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Gartzi helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pintó Un Tinto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
