Oscar Formerio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing BA's goalkeeper Inocencio Ixidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Luis Tonio made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Benet. Boca jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Igor Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Magdaleno during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Racing BA got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Magdaleno. A hard shot by Joaquin Perico from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Inocencio Ixidor's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Severiano Magdaleno hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Racing BA's Inocencio Ixidor got control of the ball when Adolfo Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herminio Bidun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Benet having to interfere. After the first half Racing BA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Baldovino made a kick off. When Juan Abad came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Boca jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Abad couldn't finish the play. In the 59thth minute of the game Igor Theobald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing BA's Inocencio Ixidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Racing BA getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Constantino Claus hit a great ball. Inocencio Ixidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Erasmo Kaxen kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Magdaleno in the 83rd minute of play forced Boca jrs's goalkeeper Esteve Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca jrs's Esteve Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Magdaleno in the 89th minute of play. Racing BA were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Boca jrs's much stronger midfield.
