Felipe Olo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Lia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Egoi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Eli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Ribera F.C.'s Fulgencio Eli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Egoi in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Mariano Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, La Ribera F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Millan to maneuver through the defense. La Ribera F.C.'s Fulgencio Eli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Ponciano in the 26th minute of play. Denis Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fulgencio Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Jenaro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Amado Lia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Ribera F.C.. When Eulalio Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FortinerosCaserosClub's protests and gave Eulalio Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FortinerosCaserosClub getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eulalio Ubarna hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FortinerosCaserosClub's zone, Felipe Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Lia came out of the goal and Felipe Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Egoi in the 59th minute of play forced La Ribera F.C.'s goalkeeper Fulgencio Eli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play La Ribera F.C.'s Enrique Urki was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. La Ribera F.C.:s Fulgencio Eli showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Gabino:s penalty. 71 minutes into the match, Pedro Gabino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Eli. La Ribera F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Gabino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Conrado Indartsu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 3-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Mariano Egoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 83 minutes of play, La Ribera F.C.'s Saturnino Millan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Lia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipe Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Amado Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Felipe Olo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Ribera F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FortinerosCaserosClub.
