After 3 played minutes Lugano HRM got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Galeno. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lokon Dibala got free with Amado Lia in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Lugano HRM's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Balasi came free, but Benedicto Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Eulalio Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lugano HRM were furious when Erubiel Vimaro was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 11th minute, one of Lugano HRM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lugano HRM. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for FortinerosCaserosClub. Pedro Gabino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benedicto Karmel. 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, FortinerosCaserosClub's Mariano Egoi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Karmel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alonzo Galeno hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FortinerosCaserosClub! Lokon Dibala placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, FortinerosCaserosClub's Mariano Egoi got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Nicasio Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FortinerosCaserosClub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano HRM the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Balasi in the 31st minute of play forced Lugano HRM's goalkeeper Benedicto Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Ponciano in the 33rd minute of play. Denis Balasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Rutenio in the 37th minute of the match. Jonatan Mikolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Lia having to interfere. Joel Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Amado Lia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Benedicto Karmel came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FortinerosCaserosClub's Denis Balasi. But to his dismay, Denis Balasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lokon Dibala was the one to do the kick off. Nicasio Ponciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Benedicto Karmel made a huge save. Benedicto Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Egoi in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Mariano Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eulalio Ubarna hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Lugano HRM's Lokon Dibala got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonatan Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lugano HRM's Benedicto Karmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Ubarna in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Lugano HRM's Benedicto Karmel got control of the ball when Nicasio Ponciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Galsino hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Jonatan Mikolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Lia. FortinerosCaserosClub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Mikolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Eulalio Ubarna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benedicto Karmel came out and tried to block the shot, but Eulalio Ubarna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 85th minute. Denis Balasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Benedicto Karmel made a huge save. In the 93rd minute of the match, Denis Balasi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benedicto Karmel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind FortinerosCaserosClub's goalkeeper Amado Lia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The FortinerosCaserosClub supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FortinerosCaserosClub would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
