Guascan's Albano Perico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Guascan from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Fanuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Benito Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Huracán's zone, Ciriaco Fanuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Marquez came out of the goal and Ciriaco Fanuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Ciriaco Fanuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Domingos Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albano Perico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Rito in the 19th minute of the match. Benito Marquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Fanuco went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 24 played minutes Club Atlético Huracán got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Jusepe. Ciriaco Fanuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Ilazki got free with Albano Perico in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guascan's Albano Perico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Jusepe in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Rito to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ciriaco Fanuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guascan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Fanuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Cordeara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Marquez was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, Joaquin Jusepe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Albano Perico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Guascan's Ariel Rios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Marquez. That made the score 2-2 after 61 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Prospero Ilazki made a precise shot to the right of Albano Perico. Guascan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Ciriaco Fanuco might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciriaco Fanuco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Ciriaco Fanuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ariel Rios came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Guascan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Rios couldn't finish the play. Ciriaco Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Guascan's Ciriaco Fanuco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. If Ciriaco Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Adolfo Leheren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Albano Perico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Jusepe took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Perico. Albano Perico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. The Club Atlético Huracán players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
