Teobaldo Manny succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. After a rather tough play, Aguilares City's Marcelo Guillelmo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ezequiel Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Fernando Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubaldo Edur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Aguilares City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yacuchina:s goal. Alfredo Ramond walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 58 minutes of play, Aguilares City's Simon Franco made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Perutxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Aguilares City's Simon Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ezequiel Perutxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Aguilares City's zone, Ubaldo Edur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Baleren came out of the goal and Ubaldo Edur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Simon Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
