In the 7th match minute, Tuizón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Miliano to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Ritchie AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Pelayo. Alonzo Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Freddy Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tuizón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Salvatore couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Tuizón got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Miliano. Edelmiro Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Marques in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Tuizón's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Marques came free, but Edelmiro Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Albano Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuizón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Marques in the 26th minute of play forced Tuizón's goalkeeper Edelmiro Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Freddy Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Tuizón's goalkeeper Edelmiro Dantae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Kauldi. Tuizón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Teo Marques scored to the left of an out of position Edelmiro Dantae, making the score, 1-0. The long shot by Humberto Illart in the 46th minute really tested Edelmiro Dantae's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Marques to make the kick off. Alonzo Pagomari made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Albano Ofelio sent off a good shot on target. Tuizón's Edelmiro Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Marques in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Leandro Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Dantae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Dantae having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Teo Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ritchie AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Dantae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leandro Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Edelmiro Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Freddy Salvatore struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alonzo Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuizón. The Ritchie AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tuizón had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
