Freddy Evangelista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Scylla A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Chepe came free, but Efrain Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, one of Devoto 22:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Devoto 22. In the 39th minute Ruben Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Scylla A.F.C's Simon Rey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jacinto Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Mitxel in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Bide saved Scylla A.F.C from getting behind. Freddy Evangelista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute of the match Jeremias Sarracino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Bide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freddy Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Bemabe in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Diego Mitxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Bide was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Ruben Bemabe scored 5-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddy Evangelista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86thth minute of the game Diego Mitxel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scylla A.F.C's Efrain Bide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Devoto 22 booed when Scylla A.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Errolan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scylla A.F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Devoto 22 the free kick.
