Constantino Cambranes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Vinicio Telmo sent off a good shot on target. When Ezequiel Micael came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Atlético Monte Quemado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Micael couldn't finish the play. Ivan Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Telmo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Placido Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Miguel Valery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Domiku. Barrialito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Valery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Constantino Cambranes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Telmo in the 34th minute. Nicolas Bonadona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Barrialito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 37 minutes into the game, Nicolas Bonadona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Constantino Cambranes. Nicolas Bonadona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ivan Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Domiku having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Vinicio Telmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miguel Valery made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Gaueko got free with Mauro Domiku in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Gaueko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Domiku read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Valery got free with Mauro Domiku in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Barrialito's Vinicio Telmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Cambranes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 70 minutes into the game, Nicolas Bonadona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrialito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Monte Quemado the free kick. A collision led to Barrialito getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nicolas Bonadona hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Nicolas Bonadona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Constantino Cambranes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Evelio Ereinotz fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Monte Quemado's protests and gave Evelio Ereinotz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Evelio Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Barrialito's Nicolas Bonadona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ivan Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Monte Quemado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrialito.
