Beto Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Munio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Handi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Beto Martini made a huge save. Beto Martini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Handi went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nereo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Martini having to interfere. Beto Martini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Munio in the 16th minute of play. If Nereo Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Galacticos getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Virgilio Valente hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Elpidio Munio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beto Martini was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Guido Galeno fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saforcada's protests and gave Guido Galeno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saforcada's Guido Galeno got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Saforcada's Elpidio Munio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beto Martini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nereo Handi succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Taurino came free, but Beto Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Munio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Beto Martini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Guib stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nereo Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Belmiro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nereo Handi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Martini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. When Saforcada's Elpidio Munio in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arnulfo Chorache stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beto Martini. 5-0. Nereo Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Munio in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Martini saved Galacticos from getting behind. Elpidio Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Munio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Martini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 96 minutes, Candido Lartaun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galacticos and the Saforcada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galacticos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Saforcada. Arnulfo Chorache stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beto Martini. 6-0. After having played for 100 minutes, Elpidio Munio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saforcada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Munio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 103 minutes into the match, Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Taurino came free, but Beto Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
