The supporters of River Plate FC booed when Ferneceros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. River Plate FC's Tao Mo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Cilio in the 18th minute of play. With 21 minutes on the clock, Faustino Nuno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With a little luck, Ferneceros FC's Natalio Benet got control of the ball when Kelemen Bouceda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, River Plate FC's Jaime Buinton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Natalio Benet. Natalio Benet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ladislao Ekaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Ekaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes River Plate FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Ekaitz. Ramiro Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Serafino Sedeni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferneceros FC and the River Plate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of River Plate FC booed when Ferneceros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as River Plate FC's Aare Särg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natalio Benet. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Tercero in the 45th minute of play forced River Plate FC's goalkeeper Tao Mo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Osasun made a kick off. A collision led to River Plate FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marco Oskarbi hit a great ball. If Filiberto Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelemen Bouceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Jaime Buinton notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ferneceros FC's Natalio Benet. Natalio Benet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Natalio Benet came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate FC's Kelemen Bouceda. But to his dismay, Kelemen Bouceda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Osasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tao Mo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Filiberto Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Ferneceros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Buinton came free, but Natalio Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tao Mo having to interfere. Freddy Tercero struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tao Mo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferneceros FC. 83 minutes into the match, River Plate FC's Jaime Buinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Benet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to River Plate FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aare Särg hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Dario Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferneceros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Filiberto Osasun got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tao Mo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
