Saturnino Aragones started the match with the kick off. When Emanuel Orlo fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Nuevos Santos FC's protests and gave Emanuel Orlo a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Fulgencio Erramun was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Fulgencio Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Rodriguez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 吴震志 came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidro Rodriguez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. If Isidro Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerardo Corderun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but 吴震志 made a huge save. Nicasio Caradaro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Caradaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Nuevos Santos FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nicasio Caradaro hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Los Nuevos Santos FC's goalkeeper 吴震志 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Corderun. After 40 minutes of play, LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Isidro Rodriguez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 吴震志 was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Venerando in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Nuevos Santos FC's goalkeeper 吴震志 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. 吴震志 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Rodriguez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Isidro Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 吴震志 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Los Nuevos Santos FC's 吴震志 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Osorio in the 69th minute of play.
