The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Ahrenfeld FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ahrenfeld FC:s Benicio Ostots showed great skill when he stopped Juan Kepa:s penalty. In the 42nd minute, Juan Kepa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Ostots was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ahrenfeld FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taladro Nordico the free kick. When the referee ended the match the Taladro Nordico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
