Jairo Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Rodriguez in the 19th minute of play. Desiderio Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Børre in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Luzea saved LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL from getting behind. Jairo Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Corderun in the 24th minute of play. Jairo Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Erasmo Bernard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taladro Nordico and the LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's goalkeeper Rogelio Luzea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Taladro Nordico booed when LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Rodriguez in the 92nd minute of play forced Taladro Nordico's goalkeeper Jairo Haitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Isidro Rodriguez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jairo Haitz, 4-2. LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
