Coni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Gigisones the free kick. After 6 played minutes Coni got a freekick which was hit by Rene Gonsalve. Narciso Santiago's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Gigisones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Coni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Santiago to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Fabio Cordario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Gigisones and the Coni players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a left leg Abel Ortzi saved Club Atletico Gigisones from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Gigisones's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Enetz came free, but Abel Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Enetz in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Marciano Enetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Gigisones's Abel Ortzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Narciso Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Coni booed when Club Atletico Gigisones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Abel Ortzi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Casomiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Enetz got free with Abel Ortzi in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico Gigisones's Abel Ortzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Gigisones from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Club Atletico Gigisones's Abel Ortzi got control of the ball when Narciso Santiago tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Santiago got free with Abel Ortzi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Ortzi was a little too slow when Marciano Enetz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-3. Abel Ortzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Santiago in the 94th minute. Abel Ortzi came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Coni's Narciso Santiago. But to his dismay, Narciso Santiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Coni supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coni would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
