The audience was convinced that Godofredo Tebaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Quinto was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Mogotes's Adrian Quinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Tebaldo in the 20th minute of play. Horacio Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Lidon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, condor's Victoriano Ieltxu got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Horacio Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. In the 46th minute, Matias Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Carlos Belarmo in the 47th minute really tested Adrian Quinto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Mogotes's Modesto Aurken got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mogotes's zone, Niceto Ezkerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Quinto came out of the goal and Niceto Ezkerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Mogotes's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Domenec came free, but Adrian Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes condor got a freekick which was hit by Joel Silvanito. When Victoriano Ieltxu fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored condor's protests and gave Victoriano Ieltxu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Victoriano Ieltxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Horacio Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Tiburcio Barbosa's late challenge caught a condor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Godofredo Tebaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 91st minute of the match Jimeno Lehen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Quinto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Horacio Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The condor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mogotes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
