Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Godofredo Tebaldo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Victoriano Ieltxu came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the condor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Ieltxu couldn't finish the play. Hector Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Muno in the 10th minute of the match. Alonzo Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The Ascensión fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Ascensión's Leandro Muno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victorino Jerrald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Domenec in the 22nd minute. Hector Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Baumar in the 23rd minute of play. Ascensión's Victorino Jerrald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Tebaldo in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Leandro Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Carlos Belarmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Jerrald skillfully saved the ball. Hector Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Anibal Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ascensión's Melquiades Mino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Ascensión booed when condor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Leandro Muno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hector Lidon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Ceferino Tibalt made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, condor's Godofredo Tebaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Jerrald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Victoriano Ieltxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Jerrald. Ascensión's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Ieltxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Victorino Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Ezkerra in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Ascensión was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Bide to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leandro Muno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Lidon was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. When Ceferino Tibalt came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ascensión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Tibalt couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Leandro Muno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ascensión fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 70 minutes, Joel Silvanito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the condor and the Ascensión players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for condor! Hector Lidon went to the wrong direction when Melquiades Mino was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Victorino Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Ceferino Tibalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Lidon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Ceferino Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ascensión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Tibalt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, condor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ceferino Tibalt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Tibalt got free with Hector Lidon in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Ascensión were awarded a corner. Melquiades Mino went to the cornerflag to take it. Leandro Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Lidon having to interfere. Ascensión's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
