Leandro Muno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rogelio Elodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ascensión's Leandro Muno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ceferino Tibalt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 40th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Santiago in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Jerrald saved Ascensión from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marciano Enetz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Coni getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eloy Llin hit a great ball. Fernando Casomiro's late challenge caught a Ascensión's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Casomiro helped the player get up and apologised. Rogelio Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Muno in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Muno in the 63rd minute of play forced Coni's goalkeeper Rogelio Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ceferino Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
