Dalmacio Koldo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Alejandro Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Ferrer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dalmacio Koldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dalmacio Koldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Santana in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Alejandro Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Ulises Policarpio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Mano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Naranjito AFC's zone, Ulises Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Mano came out of the goal and Ulises Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Edorta in the 30th minute of play forced Naranjito AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Bide shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Dalmacio Koldo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Alejandro Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Alejandro Ferrer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Koldo. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Ferrer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Policarpio to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Policarpio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermegildo Mano. That made the score 2-4 in the 52 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ulises Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Ferrer in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Koldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alejandro Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Naranjito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Ferrer couldn't finish the play. Ulises Policarpio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Policarpio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulises Policarpio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Edorta in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Edorta in the 71st minute of play forced Naranjito AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Naranjito AFC's Ermegildo Mano got control of the ball when Wilfredo Bide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermegildo Mano made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Joaquin Edorta sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Borussia Dortmund's Ulises Policarpio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Alejandro Ferrer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Koldo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Wilfredo Bide got a free kick in the 91st minute. Alejandro Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dalmacio Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Wilfredo Bide hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Alejandro Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Although Naranjito AFC had been in control for most of the match, Borussia Dortmund still came away with the win.
