In the 3rd minute, Matador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicasio Estebano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. PALESTINA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Guillermo Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Matador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Freddy Maiorga hit a great ball. Adan Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Senio in the 30th minute of the match. Nicasio Estebanos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Gavino Orzaize to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adan Ioritz came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Matador's Jeronimo Paio. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Paio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, PALESTINA's Nicolas Cordearo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Jeronimo Paio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adan Ioritz skillfully saved the ball. The throw-in from Lázaro Senio in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PALESTINA's Guillermo Conrao. Higinio Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicasio Estebano came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the PALESTINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Estebano couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Paio made a kick off. Gavino Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Estebano in the 53rd minute of play. Matador's Gavino Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Cordearo in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Barros during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
