Esquipula Pujol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Orzaize having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Desiderio Anaya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavino Orzaize, 2-0. Esquipula Pujol did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Gavino Orzaize 17 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Freddy Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matador's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bento Cahyono Putro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esquipula Pujol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gavino Orzaize made a huge save. Haroldo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the game, German Jax was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranchitos F.C the free kick. In the 30th minute, German Jax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Cahyono Putro having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Ranchitos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Urbez to maneuver through the defense. Bento Cahyono Putro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Maiorga in the 41st minute of the match. When Esquipula Pujol fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranchitos F.C's protests and gave Esquipula Pujol a yellow card for diving instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Paio to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Desiderio Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranchitos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Matador's goal looked a bit too open when Esquipula Pujol came free, but Gavino Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Freddy Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Cahyono Putro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Matador defense, Esquipula Pujol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Orzaize. The Matador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Orzaize should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Esquipula Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esquipula Pujol in the 71st minute of play forced Matador's goalkeeper Gavino Orzaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bento Cahyono Putro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
