The supporters of Cangrejillos booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Felo came free, but Horacio Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goalkeeper Serafino Maju had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Joseph. Honorato Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Honorato Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Bernardino Joseph got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 40 in the game by Bernardino Joseph from a close distance when the talented Serafino Maju managed to make a qualified save. Belgrano's players were relieved. 42 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Gimenez came free, but Horacio Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Tiadoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Felo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gervasio Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carolo Hotz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Horacio Hori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano. German Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Hori having to interfere. If Honorato Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Eustaquio Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangrejillos and the Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Cangrejillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Lizbeth kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Horacio Hori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Felo went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Emilio Ordono kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. German Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gervasio Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cangrejillos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgrano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
