In the 7th minute, Samuel Erasto made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Laurentzi. Todolomiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Samuel Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union de Santa Fe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Erasto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute Pastor Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Todolomiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ladislao Gorri was slow to take the kick. During this time Union de Santa Fe's players had a chance to rest. Union de Santa Fe's Ladislao Gorri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Modesto Laurentzi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pastor Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Peio during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todolomiro's goalkeeper Modesto Laurentzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Union de Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Tavio to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, Todolomiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Firmo to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Peio made a kick off. Todolomiro's Modesto Laurentzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Todolomiro from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Todolomiro's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Erasto came free, but Modesto Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Samuel Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Rami having to interfere. The supporters of Todolomiro booed when Union de Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ekialde in the 77th minute of the match. Todolomiro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Samuel Erasto 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. 83 minutes into the match Samuel Erasto dribbled himself free with the goalkeeper and finished off with shooting in 0-4 passed Modesto Laurentzi next to the left post. Samuel Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Laurentzi having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Union de Santa Fe's Samuel Erasto made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Laurentzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Peio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Rami having to interfere. The Todolomiro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Union de Santa Fe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
