Parque Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mădălin Datcu took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Milan. Roman Milan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Mădălin Datcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Leonardo Eyague was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parque Avellaneda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Renegados the free kick. Cristobal Beltza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Parque Avellaneda's Alfredo Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Beltza in the 53rd minute of play. Alfredo Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Roderigo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The supporters of Renegados booed when Parque Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Caton hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Alejandro Oxarra from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Roman Milan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Roderigo in the 65th minute of play forced Parque Avellaneda's goalkeeper Alfredo Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Renegados's zone, Mădălin Datcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Milan came out of the goal and Mădălin Datcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Parque Avellaneda getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Horacio Garaile hit a great ball. Alfredo Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Caton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, Renegados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Sotil to maneuver through the defense. Renegados's Roman Milan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Renegados from getting a goal against them. Uriel Lia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Milan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Arnulfo Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the game, Leonardo Eyague recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Milan. Leonardo Eyague showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Renegados supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Parque Avellaneda's performance. The match ended with a win for Parque Avellaneda.
