After 3 played minutes Panigassis de Wilde Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Oriche. Jairo Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Gurutz in the 8th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Maximino Oto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panigassis de Wilde Oeste and the Kiricocho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciriaco Chap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Dabi in the 17th minute. Jairo Dominic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Chap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Kiricocho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Ospin came free, but Ciriaco Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Gurutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jairo Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Dominic came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kiricocho FC's Enrique Gurutz. But to his dismay, Enrique Gurutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Enrique Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiricocho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Gurutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Dominic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Kiricocho FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Gurutz to make the kick off. Modesto Ospin took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Chap. Ciriaco Chap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Enrique Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Gelmiro during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kiricocho FC made a substitution. Mario Noe replaced Santo Gelmiro. A collision led to Kiricocho FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Santo Gelmiro hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Kiricocho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Ospin came free, but Ciriaco Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Dominic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Enrique Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Oto was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Kiricocho FC booed when Panigassis de Wilde Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Oto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Norino came free in the 91st minute and tried to tip the ball over Ciriaco Chap, but to the joy of Kiricocho FC's supporters the ball went over. Ciriaco Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Beliran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Kiricocho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Noe to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kiricocho FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
