If Enrique Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes, Enrique Gurutz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiricocho FC and the Hobbiton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrique Gurutz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Epifanio Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mito Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Tome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 28 played minutes Hobbiton got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Jacob. Anier Salvinos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Mito Ceni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mito Ceni stood somewhat misplaced when Anier Salvino came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. After a rather tough play, Kiricocho FC's Celedonio Salvator got a free kick in the 39th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Firmo was the one to do the kick off. Epifanio Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mito Ceni having to interfere. Jacobo Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Hobbiton booed when Kiricocho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Salvator didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 minutes, Enrique Gurutz made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hobbiton's Mito Ceni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Enrique Gurutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mito Ceni was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 78th match minute, Kiricocho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Mito Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Enrique Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiricocho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Gurutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mito Ceni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
