After a defensive mix-up in Hobbiton's zone, Gabriel Boniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mito Ceni came out of the goal and Gabriel Boniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Baladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Boniel in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mito Ceni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eusebio Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Gabriel Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hobbiton's Enzo Galeno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eusebio Ariando in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Abaunza in the 32nd minute of play forced Tulumba FC's goalkeeper Eusebio Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Hug's late challenge caught a Hobbiton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Hug helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tulumba FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Matias Hug hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Constantino Firmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Ariando. Tulumba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Firmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Tulumba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Mannie came free, but Eusebio Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Boniel made a kick off. If Maximino Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Benigno Koldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tulumba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Koldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mito Ceni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximino Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mito Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Abaunza in the 97th minute of the match. Hobbiton played a much better game than Tulumba FC and deserved their victory. The Tulumba FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
