RiverPlate's Paulino Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Caetano in the 14th minute of play. Faustino Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusebio Ariando didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when RiverPlate's Anselmo Argenis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 25 played minutes Tulumba FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Boniel. Eusebio Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Argenis in the 32nd minute of the match. Tulumba FC's Eusebio Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Baleren in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to RiverPlate getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paulino Benet hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Argenis was the one to do the kick off. When Gabriel Boniel came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tulumba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Boniel couldn't finish the play. Remigio Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Eusebio Ariando made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Aureliano Baleren sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Argenis got free with Eusebio Ariando in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tulumba FC's Eusebio Ariando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Tulumba FC from getting a goal against them. Tulumba FC's Gabriel Boniel got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Quilo in the 83rd minute of the match. Anselmo Argeniss short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Eusebio Ariando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Tulumba FC defense, Anselmo Argenis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebio Ariando. The Tulumba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebio Ariando should have stopped the shot. Dalmacio Quilo in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eusebio Ariando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. RiverPlate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
