Tulumba FC's Gabriel Boniel got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Eusebio Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Heli in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Cesar Rojelio made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Ariando. Tulumba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cesar Rojelio took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebio Ariando. Eusebio Ariando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Americo Arotza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Tonete in the 42nd minute. Maximino Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Tulumba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. River Plate were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Gervaso to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Gaudencio Gutxi could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Eusebio Ariando however easily saved by the left post. Eusebio Ariando came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Ladislao Heli. But to his dismay, Ladislao Heli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Tulumba FC's Eusebio Ariando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Tulumba FC from getting a goal against them. Cesar Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eusebio Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tulumba FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. River Plate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
