Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horacio Eguen got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Erasmo Napier managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Aimogasta's Adolfo Florinio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erasmo Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Florinio in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Marcial Haitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erasmo Napier, passed just outside the right post. Ovidio Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Eguen in the 20th minute of play. Erasmo Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Florinio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Haitzs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Erasmo Napier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Eguen in the 29th minute of play forced Aimogasta's goalkeeper Ovidio Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Aimogasta's Adolfo Florinio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erasmo Napier. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Horacio Eguen's late challenge caught a Aimogasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Eguen helped the player get up and apologised. Horacio Eguen hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Argentinos del Norte's Valentin Gonzales suffered a concussion in the 38th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Nicasio Txerran kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Joel Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Adolfo Florinio made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Joel Solustiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ovidio Firmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horacio Eguen struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ovidio Firmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinos del Norte. Marcial Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Firmin having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Nicasio Txerran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Txeru during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Txeru hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos del Norte's zone, Marcial Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Napier came out of the goal and Marcial Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Florinio in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Florinio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Solustiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Horacio Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Leoiar, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aimogasta's Adolfo Florinio got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Argentinos del Norte players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aimogasta.
