In the 14th minute, Serafin Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joel Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Solustiano in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Solustiano in the 40th minute of play forced Humilde fc's goalkeeper Victor Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humilde fc's Victor Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Solustiano in the 42nd minute of play. Argentinos del Norte's Joel Solustiano got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Humilde fc's zone, Horacio Eguen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Eguen to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Humilde fc's Modesto Satordi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Horacio Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Argentinos del Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Eguen couldn't finish the play. Celso Mikeldi's late challenge caught a Argentinos del Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Mikeldi helped the player get up and apologised. Celso Mikeldi hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Horacio Eguen struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Victor Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinos del Norte. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Humilde fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Argentinos del Norte:s goal. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Argentinos del Norte's Jose Nafarroa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victor Machado. Victor Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Eguen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Machado came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Eguen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 79th minute. Victor Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Eguen in the 83rd minute of play. Victor Machado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. In the 93rd minute of the match Eusebio Mingo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Machado skillfully saved the ball. Joel Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Argentinos del Norte could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Humilde fc throughout the match.
