Spectators: 5800 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 50) Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Gonzalo Rosario in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Newbery FC's Gerardo Rocio. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta F.C's Leo Eliazar got a free kick in the 7th minute. Aurelio Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Nuno having to interfere. Leopoldo Iraido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Leopoldo Iraido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 27th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Geronimo Elorri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leopoldo Iraido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximino Orlandus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Nuno having to make a save. After 45 played minutes La Gallardeta F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Tome. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Orlandus to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aurelio Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Newbery FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Honesto couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute of the match, Santiago Senin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aquilino Nuno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Maximino Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Iraido didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Geronimo Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Leopoldo Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Iraido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 71st minute of play. Placido Cresconio made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maximino Orlandus immediately put the ball in play. In the 74th minute, Gabriel Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Rosario made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gabriel Tome. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta F.C's zone, Aurelio Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Iraido came out of the goal and Aurelio Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, one of La Gallardeta F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Gallardeta F.C. La Gallardeta F.C:s Leopoldo Iraido showed great skill when he stopped Geronimo Elorri:s penalty. Aurelio Honesto scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Iraido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonzalo Rosario made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santiago Senin. If Aurelio Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newbery FC fully deserved thier win.
