Cabrera FC's Saul Silvanito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cabrera FC from getting a goal against them. Ciro Unax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Cordeal in the 5th minute of the match. Ciro Unax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Cordeal went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ciro Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Cordeal in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Aureliano Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Lisandro Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Cordeal in the 23rd minute of play. Ciro Unax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Cordeal's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Cristobal Ayala came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saul Silvanito could save by the left post. Benedicto Gines scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Unax, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Cabrera FC defense, Eulalio Galeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Silvanito. The Cabrera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Silvanito should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ciro Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Palos in the 41st minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Ciro Unax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jeronimo Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aureliano Cordeal got free in front of the goal in the 45th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ciro Unax was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Galeno was the one to do the kick off. Saul Silvanito came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Lisandro Ferrer. But to his dismay, Lisandro Ferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Saul Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Galeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Teofilo Ledesma hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Eulalio Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lisandro Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Teofilo Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Jayvier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Silvanito. Cabrera FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute, Eulalio Galeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Silvanito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. With a little luck, Independiente's Ciro Unax got control of the ball when Aureliano Cordeal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Silvanito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes of play, Independiente's Cristobal Ayala made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Silvanito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute, Cabrera FC's Benedicto Gines dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. After 86 minutes, Jeronimo Aznaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Cabrera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Jeronimo Aznaro got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Aureliano Cordeal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Unax. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Cordeal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. In the 93rd minute Cristobal Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Jeronimo Aznaro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeronimo Aznaro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cabrera FC booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
