Matias Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Matias Bazkoare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Dodorol went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. ClubAtléticoIndependiente's Matias Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Garcia in the 14th minute of play. Karl-Heinz Garcia took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Bazkoare. Matias Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Zeledon Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Bazkoare having to interfere. Matias Bazkoare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Silverio Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Bazkoare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Zeledon Markel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Bazkoare. ClubAtléticoIndependiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Markel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 37 minutes into the game, Silverio Dodorol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Matias Bazkoare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matias Bazkoare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Heinz Garcia in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Frasquito in the 42nd minute of play forced ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goalkeeper Matias Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ClubAtléticoIndependiente defense, Silverio Dodorol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Bazkoare. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Bazkoare should have stopped the shot. When Karl-Heinz Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Don Leopardo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Heinz Garcia couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Heinz Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ClubAtléticoIndependiente's Reynaldo Cesario got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Don Leopardo's Zeledon Markel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Bazkoare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Matias Bazkoare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Frasquito in the 58th minute. Felix Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Zeledon Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Bazkoare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Dodorol in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes ClubAtléticoIndependiente got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Txema. 72 minutes into the match, Pawel Galus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matias Bazkoare, 0-8. In the 76th minute, Don Leopardo's Zeledon Markel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matias Bazkoare. Matias Bazkoare yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Karl-Heinz Garcia took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Bazkoare. Matias Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Matias Bazkoare successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Galus in the 84th minute of play forced ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goalkeeper Matias Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Tab's late challenge caught a Don Leopardo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Tab helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Silverio Dodorol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matias Bazkoare. That made the score 0-11 in the 90 minute of play. Matias Bazkoare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Markel in the 95th minute of the match. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Don Leopardo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
