The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SPortivo Moretti's Zeledon Rivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save SPortivo Moretti from getting a goal against them. Florentino Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Lorenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SPortivo Moretti's Florentino Lorenz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute, FEYENOORD Sporting's Marcelo Rubio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeledon Rivas. Zeledon Rivas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Marcelo Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Albino Oskarbi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FEYENOORD Sporting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Oskarbi couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute of the match, Marcelo Rubio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeledon Rivas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 14 minutes, Florentino Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPortivo Moretti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Lorenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Trzaskoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Loren in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Hugo Ulizes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Albino Oskarbi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FEYENOORD Sporting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Braulio Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Santo Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes SPortivo Moretti got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ulizes. In the 31st match minute, FEYENOORD Sporting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Caradaro in the 39th minute of play forced SPortivo Moretti's goalkeeper Zeledon Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Rubio to make the kick off. Albino Oskarbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Rivas having to interfere. Timoteo Padro got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ruperto Caradaro. In the 58th minute Ruperto Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FEYENOORD Sporting's Damian Trzaskoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Loren in the 62nd minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, FEYENOORD Sporting's Albino Oskarbi made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Rivas was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Rubio in the 81st minute of play forced SPortivo Moretti's goalkeeper Zeledon Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Loren hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tadeo Iago's late challenge caught a FEYENOORD Sporting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Iago helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SPortivo Moretti's Tadeo Iago got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Marcelo Rubio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Rivas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 85 minutes, Mariano Loren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPortivo Moretti and the FEYENOORD Sporting players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, SPortivo Moretti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Loren to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 林西翀 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Marcelo Rubio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Rivas. SPortivo Moretti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Rubio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When the referee ended the match the FEYENOORD Sporting players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
