Spectators: 5800 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 50) When Hermengildo Gartzi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Newbery FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Gartzi couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Palban read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Vinicio Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 12th minute of play. Newbery FC's Geronimo Elorri got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Krabbé's Vinicio Palban got control of the ball when Aurelio Honesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Nuno having to interfere. Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rico Limon in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Newbery FC booed when Krabbé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Rico Limon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Nuno. Newbery FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rico Limon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Faustino Gelacio's late challenge caught a Newbery FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Gelacio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Faustino Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rico Limon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Newbery FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Krabbé were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Honesto to make the kick off. A collision led to Krabbé getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Silverio Gentza hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Aurelio Honesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Palban was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Palban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Krabbé's goalie prevented a goal. Rico Limon struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aquilino Nuno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krabbé. Rico Limon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aquilino Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Geronimo Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th match minute, Krabbé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Nuno made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Rico Limon sent off a good shot on target. Vinicio Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Honesto in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Palban saved Krabbé from getting behind. If Rico Limon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rico Limon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Ermegildo Gaztea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Nuno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Santos Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newbery FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinicio Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 95th minute of the match. The Krabbé players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Newbery FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
