Dida Martinez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zeledon Markel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Zeledon Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Don Leopardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Markel in the 23rd minute of play. Karl-Heinz Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dida Martinez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅常岩 in the 31st minute of play forced Don Leopardo's goalkeeper Antonio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Ugutz came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol & Birras's Didier Brutin. But to his dismay, Didier Brutin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dida Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Garcia in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Heinz Garcia got free with Dida Martinez in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dida Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Silverio Dodorol took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Dida Martinez to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Heinz Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Karl-Heinz Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Karl-Heinz Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Dida Martinez. Futbol & Birras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Karl-Heinz Garcia sped through Futbol & Birras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Martinez. If Zeledon Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol & Birras's zone, Emilio Frasquito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Martinez came out of the goal and Emilio Frasquito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dida Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, 傅常岩 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Ugutz, 6-2. After having played for 83 minutes, Aaron Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Don Leopardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Barea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Heinz Garcia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Martinez saved Futbol & Birras from getting behind. Dida Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futbol & Birras's Dida Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Garcia in the 91st minute of play. Dida Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Heinz Garcia's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Dida Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Dodorol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th match minute, Futbol & Birras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Turi to maneuver through the defense.
