In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Newbery FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Nuno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Newbery FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Honesto. Aquilino Nuno came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Entamoeba FC's Salvador Barto. But to his dismay, Salvador Barto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 35 minutes, Gabriel Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Entamoeba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Entamoeba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Edur to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Entamoeba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Honesto came free, but Benedicto Joseph reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Geronimo Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newbery FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Honesto was the one to do the kick off. Entamoeba FC's Gabriel Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Salvador Barto made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Nuno. Newbery FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 68 minutes into the match, Newbery FC's Hermengildo Gartzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benedicto Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 70th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Entamoeba FC had played much better football throughout.
