The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Krabbé got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Maiorga. After 4 played minutes, Cabrera FC's Teofilo Ledesma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Palban came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabrera FC reached it. Erubiel Eleder took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Palban. Vinicio Palban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Krabbé defense, Benedicto Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Palban. The Krabbé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Palban should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes in the game Justino Sidoro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gonzalo Lope. 15 minutes into the game, Aureliano Cordeal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vinicio Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinicio Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Cordeal in the 19th minute of play. Aureliano Cordeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vinicio Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Aliuta during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Aliuta kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Vinicio Palban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Eleder in the 28th minute of play forced Krabbé's goalkeeper Vinicio Palban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Gines struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Vinicio Palban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabrera FC. Vinicio Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Cordeal in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Cordeal in the 39th minute of play forced Krabbé's goalkeeper Vinicio Palban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cabrera FC's zone, Rico Limon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Silvanito came out of the goal and Rico Limon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Gentza hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aureliano Cordeal made the kick off in the second half. Rico Limon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Silvanito having to interfere. If Ermegildo Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 played minutes Krabbé got a freekick which was hit by Rico Limon. Vinicio Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Gines in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Faustino Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krabbé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Gelacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Krabbé's Rico Limon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Silvanito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Palos got free with Vinicio Palban in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Silvanito having to interfere. Saul Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rico Limon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Cabrera FC's Erubiel Eleder got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Rico Limon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rico Limon struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Saul Silvanito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krabbé. With a little luck, Krabbé's Vinicio Palban got control of the ball when Aureliano Cordeal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinicio Palban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Palos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Cabrera FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
