Spectators: 5800 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Didier Brutin made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Didier Brutin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol & Birras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newbery FC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Futbol & Birras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didier Brutin to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Gora hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Aurelio Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmut Laik in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Futbol & Birras's Celso Domeka seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celso Domeka the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Futbol & Birras protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celso Domeka had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Newbery FC. Geronimo Elorri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dida Martinez. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Honesto in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Jakes's late challenge caught a Newbery FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Jakes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dida Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Elorri in the 31st minute. Aurelio Honesto took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Martinez. Dida Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Aurelio Honesto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dida Martinez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Newbery FC booed when Futbol & Birras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didier Brutin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Aurelio Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Aurelio Honesto took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Dida Martinez to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Honesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dida Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 51st minute of the match. Geronimo Elorri struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Dida Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newbery FC. Dida Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol & Birras's zone, Everardo Jurdan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Martinez came out of the goal and Everardo Jurdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dida Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 61st minute of the match. The throw-in from Tomas Jakes in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Newbery FC's Hermengildo Gartzi. After 64 played minutes Newbery FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Honesto. When 傅常岩 came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Futbol & Birras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 傅常岩 couldn't finish the play. Helmut Laik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Nuno having to interfere. A collision led to Futbol & Birras getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Epifanio Gora hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Gartzi in the 77th minute of play forced Futbol & Birras's goalkeeper Dida Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Honesto scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dida Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 82nd minute of play. Santos Baudelio charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Baudelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Newbery FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Baudelio. If 傅常岩 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmut Laik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Aquilino Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Newbery FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
