Spectators: 6688 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 1) C.A. Aplasta's Pascual Inocente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Ildefonso Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Bazkoare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Santana was a little too slow when Paolo Pirro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 18th minute, Ildefonso Iraido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Aplasta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Victorino Santana made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Felix Orland sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Iraido in the 35th minute of play forced ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goalkeeper Matias Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ClubAtléticoIndependiente defense, Ildefonso Iraido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Bazkoare. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Bazkoare should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Pagomari lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of C.A. Aplasta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ClubAtléticoIndependiente:s goal. Victorino Santana had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Victorino Socorro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A. Aplasta were winning 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Felix Orland managed to get in a good position for a shot. ClubAtléticoIndependiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Orland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goalkeeper Matias Bazkoare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Inocente. The crowd rose to their feet as Ildefonso Iraido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matias Bazkoare. That made the score 2-3 in the 59 minute of play. ClubAtléticoIndependiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ildefonso Iraido scored to the left of an out of position Matias Bazkoare, making the score, 2-4. Matias Bazkoare was a little too slow when Ildefonso Iraido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-5. Pablo Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes ClubAtléticoIndependiente got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Txema. Matias Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, ClubAtléticoIndependiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Orland to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Iraido in the 83rd minute of play forced ClubAtléticoIndependiente's goalkeeper Matias Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ClubAtléticoIndependiente booed when C.A. Aplasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Arruabarrena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Iraido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Bazkoare was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Pascual Inocente might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Bazkoare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Inocente ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Iraido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Bazkoare was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. C.A. Aplasta's Victorino Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Orland in the 96th minute of play. C.A. Aplasta played a much better game than ClubAtléticoIndependiente and deserved their victory. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
