The supporters of SPortivo Moretti booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, SPortivo Moretti's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Ferrer came free, but Zeledon Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Eulalio Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeledon Rivas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SPortivo Moretti getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tadeo Iago hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Eulalio Galeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Rivas. SPortivo Moretti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Galeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. When Lisandro Ferrer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Lisandro Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Mariano Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Unax having to interfere. There was no doubt that Independiente were the better team. Independiente's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
